Urgent Appeal: Extension of WIL Assignment Submission Date
To: [Matseoane]
We, the second-year Internal Auditing students at TUT Ga Rankuwa campus, are writing to bring to your attention a pressing concern regarding the WIL assignment. The late upload of the assignment and the refusal to extend the submission date have caused significant hardship and disadvantage to us.
The assignment was uploaded late, on 1 October, leaving us with only six days to complete the task, which is a significantly shorter period than the original two weeks (19 September - 8 October). This truncated timeline has caused undue stress and pressure, particularly during test week, when we are already managing other academic responsibilities.
Furthermore, the required application for the assignment is incompatible with most of our laptops, necessitating access to the library computer lab. However, the lab is not operational 24/7 , exacerbating our difficulties.
We respectfully request:
1. An immediate extension of the submission date to allow for a fair and reasonable completion period.
2. Access to the library computer lab during weekdays to facilitate completion of the assignment.
3. Alternative arrangements for students without suitable laptops to complete the assignment.
We believe that these measures will ensure equity and fairness in the completion of the WIL assignment. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a favorable response.
Sincerely
