Speed prevention measures urgently needed in Hawthorne Avenue Rainham ME8

Hawthorne Avenue, Rainham, kent ME8. Should be a quiet residential road. Most houses have young children or elderly residents. 
On a daily basis drivers speed up and down our road exceeding the speed limit. 
With Rainham Mark, Rainham Girls, The Howard, Twydall School, Thames View and St Thomas' School all within a few minutes walk and students using this road to get to and from school, one day there will be a fatality. 
Speed prevention measures preferrably in the form of speed bumps need to be installed from the very top of Hawthorne to at least the junction with the Dew Drop Pub. 
Our children and the hundreds of children and the elderly residents and families of Hawthorne Avenue deserve to be safe when using the road.
